The Ministry of Education has made a seven years pact with the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to modernize the Dikhsha edtech platform to provide educational resources to millions of students, teachers across the country

In a new initiative to enhance the digital educational resources for the students and teachers across the country, Education Ministry has made a seven-year pact with the Oracle cloud infrastructure to help the ministry in providing educational resources to the students and teachers with the help of Diksha platform.

Diksha (Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing) is an open-source platform that provides learning material to the students and teachers. It is an initiative started by the National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT). Diksha can be accessible by students and teachers throughout the country in 36 languages. It is one of the most successful Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) initiatives.



By using the Open-source platform ‘Sunbird’ Diksha helps teachers to support the learning of underserved communities and disabled students across the country. Users of Diksha can access text and video content from the educational resources such as the NCERT, CBSE and SCERTs.
