Gujarat Government has decided to reopen the school and colleges from 15th of July with new covid guidelines, 50 percent student strength and voluntary attendance

After a long time, the Gujarat Government has decided to reopen the schools and colleges with 50 percent strength and voluntary attendance. The Chief Minister of Gujarat Vijay Rupani has announced that 50 percent of the students can attend the classes and physical attendance will not be mandatory for the students.

The Gujarat Government has issued fresh guidelines to be strictly followed by the schools and colleges. The new guidelines will include the wearing of face masks, social distancing, and hand sanitization among others. The schools and colleges will have to strictly follow these guidelines.

Undergraduate and postgraduate classes in colleges can start with not more than 50 percent of students strength. Students can attend physical classes on a voluntary basis.

The government has also lifted the night curfew in 10 out of 18 urban areas which has brought a great relief to the public. Government has taken this decision after observing the decline in the number of cases in the state.
